  1. Yes this has been passed around more than the village bicycle, but it is a
good one – very fitting and almost "prophetic" for the issues we are facing
today… if we had only listened to the warnings 65 years ago… we
wouldn't be in this mess today. But it is not too late. Funny how the "ism"
salesman sound like the all the talking heads in the obama administration
    :-)

  2. @MrRazzeldazzel88 Ya, greece is doing great right now. Do you know why
socialist germany is doing so well? because all the big EU banks are in
Germany. You move those banks out Germany goes to the shitter.

  3. @gergenheimer But it doesn't detract from the fact that it is an -ISM. Did
you forget the scene where Dr. Utopia presents the contract? Its still a
voluntary cooperation. A voluntary cooperation to adopt an -ISM and accept
the -ISM as a system of society.

people. Prosperous people can better help those less fortunate." Have you
looked at where countries like America are in the Gini Coefficient? Which
is an overall estimation of equality of a country based 0-1 and they number
those countries. Look it up and you will see exactly how full of shit you
    are.

  5. This Jack Webb vs. Communism stuff is fine for 1948, but "evil big
government" and all your wholesome friends and neighbors are swallowed up
by corporations whose only agenda is profit. That's your capitalist system
in 2012. Better go ahead and secede.

  8. Princess Celestia is a benevolent dictator. 🙂 Although, even though the
ponies can start and run their own businesses to make money, there doesn't
seem to be much competition in Ponyville. Remember the episode in which
Fluttershy becomes assertive? When she goes shopping in the market, it
seems like she only has one choice for each item she wants. So maybe
Celestia isn't so benevolent, if she allows monopolies. Or maybe I'm
reading too much into it. ;P

This is just one good scenario. We have to have some socialism in order to
live, people don't realize that there are winners and losers in this world.
Post-industrialism is what it is people. Also, good video in general
    though, good propaganda.

News and Banks? I would love to know. . . .since obviously you missed the
    point of the video entirely.

  11. Here, drink this capitalism, and all will be well! You can live free with
the knowledge that your entire economic future rests in the hands of people
who are putting it all down on black on the roulette wheel. Happy
    retirement.

  12. "Keep in mind that "capitalism" does not have to equate to ruining the
planet; in fact people can make money healing the planet." And how exactly
do you make money off of cleaning up your own disasters? BP certainly
decided they couldn't make much money off of cleaning their oil spill, so
they decided cut corners and influence government officials and taking
advantage of the environmental regulations to do so.

  13. @Doug19752533 no. capitalism is not a utopian ideology. it is the best out
of all imperfect systems for protecting freedom and producing prosperity at
the same time. everything else is force and domination, whether by a king
    or a peoples committee

  14. @Doug19752533 the difference is that in a free society with free markets
(capitalism), the individual and his/her rights and property are (supposed
to be) protected first, above all else. Under this "-ISM", a group or a
majority of citizens cannot force an individual to do something that goes
against his/her principles or rights. Under other "-ISM"s, the majority or
ruling group forces everyone to conform to their worldview. In other words,
capitalism is a voluntary, organic cooperative.
