I got a shock recently when my 5yr old came home and began demonstrating yoga positions for me. Since when are practices that originated in eastern mystery religion considered an important part of any curriculum? Why wasn’t I consulted first? There is a difference between showing "truth" and showing evidence. I can say that the lord of the rings is "truth", but it doesn't make it so. There are many terrible schools in the public school system, but there are also some schools that are incredibly good as well, such as the bronx high school of science which has graduated many nobel prize winners. This isn't some conspiracy to destroy the country. Its just stupid people being put in positions of power by the even dumber electorate.
