  1. "I have sponsored legislation that would call for an audit of the Federal
Reserve system. I offer that amendment every year. Every year that
legislation gets nowhere. I think it would be interesting to know about the
Federal Reserve. I think we should audit the Federal Reserve. It's
taxpayer's money that's being used there." — Sen. Harry Reid, 1995

"Can we have this Harry Reid back instead of the current version who is
doing everything he can to block Audit the Fed in the Senate?" – Republican
Liberty Caucus National Chairman Dave Nalle

  2. Harry Reid used to want to audit the Federal Reserve until now that the
bill to audit the Feds is passed. *DEMAND* him to bring the bill to the
senate floor. It's *the will of We The People* !

  3. WTF happened between 95' and 12' that changed his mind. I can't help but
think of the adage about power corrupting and absolute power. Or maybe Mr
Reid is a party hack only interested in promoting the liberal agenda.

  4. 1995 Video of Harry Reid ranting against the Federal Reserve and calling
for a full audit. Now he's leading the charge for the Senate to kill H.R.

  6. *OK, 3rd World America. Headlines: HARRY REID: You Cannot Hide Your True
    Colors!!! VOTE HIM OUT*!!!

*Harry Reid was FOR auditing the FED, before he was AGAINST it! The taped
video of him definitely would NOT lie. Unfortunately, being used for
telling lies and pretends that he cares for American People was just a part
of Self-Interest Politicians. Besides, Sen. Reid would NOT lose anything at
all, why? Well, his already a millionaire (if NOT billionaire) then if he
decided to retire or lose in the election. The pension and all the good
stuff including healthcare, paycheck from taxpayer’s money until his last
day in Virtual Earth, in addition to whatever things that his Master(s)
will give/award him for being loyal*.

*In other words, Sen. Reid got nothing to lose, he's a winner*!

*So, who’s the LOSER again in this playbook? Exactly, US, We The People,
including your children* and beyond… why? *Because the cycles in Plutocracy
    continue on*! BE PROUD! Ain’t that #SWEET and #AWESOME ! #TPD

  7. The Republican Party has included language in its platform that calls for a
full audit of the Federal Reserve and a commission to study a return to the
gold standard, thanks to the mounting grassroots efforts inspired by 2012
Republican Presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul.
    A Paul-penned House resolution – H.R. 459: The Federal Reserve Transparency
Act – received overwhelming bipartisan support in the House on July 25,
2012, exceeding the two-thirds majority needed to pass with a vote of
    327-98.
The ultimate goal of the Republicans is to establish some transparency
surrounding the Fed's monetary policy decisions and hold the central bank,
which largely operates in complete secrecy, accountable for the policies it
implements. "Numerous studies show that nations with less political, more
autonomous, central banks have superior inflation performance" (Cato
    Institute).
Many critics of the bill contend that Congressional "meddling" into the
Fed's affairs will only work to politicize delicate monetary
decision-making. Citing stubborn Republican opposition to an increase in
the debt ceiling last year as an example, critics such as Senator Harry
Reid (D-NV) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), argued that the bill is
inconducive to the kind of quick and agile policy enactment necessary to
respond to emergency economic crises that emerge. While these critics'
concerns seem valid on the surface, the Fed's monetary policy is already
highly politicized. For instance, in 1976, the role of the vice chairman of
the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System changed despite
spirited protests from a number of Senators at the time. Prior to the
change, the vice chairman was appointed from within the Federal Reserve
System based on seniority. After 1976, the vice chairman was appointed by
the administration seated in the Executive office – the President of the
United States. How does this politicize the Fed's monetary policies? The
vice chairman now becomes instrumental in promoting
administration-supported banking legislation (source: Cato Institute).
Despite the Federal Reserve Transparency Act's strong bipartisan support in
the House, Sen. Harry Reid feels so strongly opposed to the legislation
that he has vowed to stop it's companion bill – S. 202: The Federal Reserve
Transparency Act – in the Senate, refusing to allow it to even reach the
floor for a vote. Funny, Senator Reid, your passionate position on the
Federal Reserve seems to have made a 180-degree turn since we last heard
    you speak on the issue…

  9. He is single-handedly blocking Ron Paul's Fed auditing bill from coming to
a vote in the Senate. This evil, weasely creep should be kicked out and the
Paul people should be upset at him more than they are at Mitt or O'Reilly.
