Absolutely — mistakes happen in broadcasting all the time. How, though, would you explain the "mistake" of reporting that an event had occurred before it actually occurred? Is the reporter clairvoyant? How would you classify the mistake of reporting a building as having already fallen while the "live" shot shows that said building is still standing (which building later did fall)? Are you saying the reporter mistakenly reported too early something she knew in advance was going to happen?
And mistakes are not made in broadcasting? People and news organizations- eager to have THE story and with all sorts of new reports- don't make mistakes?

Wrong. Newton's laws of physics say no way. In order to generate enough potential energy to fall down, ALL of the connecting bolts which take 420,000 pounds of force to sever have to be severed at the same time. There is not enough potential energy in the building itself to deliver that kind of force. You would need something like 4.2 million pounds of force per second to do that. The only thing that fits the delivery profile would be explosives. You are no engineer. More like a tool to be exact

I'm an engineering student and I know my physics don't worry. Now to answer your question, do you know anything about gravitational potential energy? If the heat in the building was able to weaken the supporting steal which it did, than the incredible weight of the building converts to destructive moving energy and does work which can in fact bring down the building.
