I agree with you, i will never have children for many causes and one of them is inspired by molly's son, who lives in a miserable life compared to ours, I don't want my kid to live in such world.
In 2100 i will be 102 years old so probably i will be dead for at least 15 years so i don't have to go through that final mess

OR people could just stop reproducing like rabbits. In most developing countries 8 or 10 children per family are considered normal while in many European countries and Japan for example the population is shrinking already. It would be so much easier to use the Chinese "one child per family" policy.
