  1. yeah wait for it to cool down if it is your personal car, i had cracked a block in a 85 trans am when i was about 18 by doing the same thing which was costly lesson learned. but i am sure they really did not care on that ride. they all so mentioned the same thing in the video that they would be surprised if they dont crack the block. maybe jag blocks are thicker then trans am blocks

  2. On the "Mitsubishi Lancer Tommi Makinen edition" there was a function that sprays water on the radiator, to help cool down the engine when so desired. You could move the hoses from the front window to the front of the radiator, and spray. How well it would have worked, I do not know

  6. That's exactly it, you nailed it on the head. Top Gear USA seems very fabricated and forced and thus is more awkward to watch rather than the genuine nature of roadkill or the original Top Gear. Clarkson, May, and Hammond have been on the air together for a long time and knew each other as kids, Top Gear USA just tries to fit into that mold when they can't. They try to be funny, but naturally they aren't.

  7. Considering most every Jag I've ever seen is sitting in a garage above a giant pool of oil, looking a great deal like a gang-land drive-by victim, this is a vast improvement…

  8. Yep, Top Gear USA is just three random dudes selected by some random executive. The difference between TG USA and the original or even roadkill is that you can believe those guys are friends, you can believe they are having a genuine fun time, because they are.

The US version just feels awkward and forced, like the producer picked three guys and said "Alright perfect! The idiot, the joker and the good driver! You guys are friends now!" Inevitably, it fails.

  12. It is usually a build up of carbon inside the cylinder head combustion chambers this retains enough heat to continue igniting the fuel/air take off the cylinder head clean off the valve faces, tops of pistons and combustion chambers skim head check timing not too rich will be fine
