To predict an incident that had been theretofore unprecedented is a little far-fetched don't you think?
By "is collapsing" the reporter meant the building was falling apart slowly. Structure, columns, AC units, etc. falling apart piece by piece. As in, "it's in the process of collapsing and is likely to completely fall on its ass sometime soon if it hasen't already done so."
Too bad steel framed buildings don't 'collapse' like that.

so… somebody told the tv channel, look the buildings gonna go, and so the tv channel reports that, then it turns out the building doesn't collapse for an hour, so WHAT, WHO CARES, HOW DOES IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE. if you watch the cnn report some say it was a cessna that hit the second tower, which was then momentarily reported to the public. Who gives a shit if they just made a mistake and somebody incorrectly predicted when the building would blow?

Look – MSNBC, CNN, 2 separate BBC channels and FOX news ALL reported that WTC7 was going to collapse (or already had) before it actually did.
No steel-framed hi-rise had EVER collapsed that way due to fire before – so HOW did they know it was going to fall?
