    All religions have caused great harm during their history and most continue to do so. This is why I cannot respect religion or those who promote it. Respect is earned, not automatic.
    Science and religion are fundamentally incompatible because science relies on evidence while religion ignores evidence that contradicts it. The only way to be a religious scientist is by adopting a double-standard and ignoring the contradictions.

    Do you think Christians believe they are being watched all the time, and judged on how good or bad they are?
    Isn't that the point of the religion to make ppl feel they are being watched and judged so they will think twice before inflicting suffering onto others? Much like be good or santa won't give you your christmas wishes.
    From my understanding of it the Illuminati were the early scientist, poor ppl can't afford equipment like telescopes thats why its the elite. Illuminated knowledge, study.

    I think belief in the big nothing is worse than belief in divine. Why ppl can't just admit they don't know and be open minded to the possibilities, rather than just find something to rebel against is weird
