Yes, One World Trade Center will be the tallest upon completion, but there are some things you should note about its height:
1) The original plan of being 1,776 feet tall included the spire being encased in something. Now it is a spire/antenna, the actual architectural height could be reduced to its roof height of 1,368 feet.
2) The Willis Tower's roof is still nearly 100 feet taller than that of One World Trade Center.
3. 432 Park Avenue, upon completion in NY, will have a higher roof.

the cities in the USA aren’t nice. High buildings are awful!! In Germany we have nicer citys (Munich, Cologne, Berlin…). The houses are wite and that makes the city bigger and nicer!

since the old towers were gone new york had an uncomplete skyline, the twin towers were like the space needle in seatle, the us bank tower in los angeles, like the sears tower in chicago (dont rember how it now called) the new towers will bring the skyline to new york

The fact that the new WTC is taller than the old one is bad. Makes it an even easier target. I would have thought America has learned by now. But no.
