  1. I remember this guy in later performances but I don't remember this one.
This is so awesome for several reasons. Kind of bittersweet. I'm such a
sap. I admit I got teary watching it.

  2. This would have been one to see…I was 9 yrs old when this happened and I
remember my grandmother seeing on the news and telling me about it. Of
course I had no idea of what the 'world trade center towers' were, sadly
they became such a target nearly 30 years later.

"When I see a beautiful place to put my wire, I couldn't resist." –
Philippe Petit after tight rope walking between the World Trade Center
    towers.

When I think about being fully alive, I think about Philippe Petit. He was
only 24 years old when he did this.

He was of course arrested and his "sentence" was to do a free show for
children in Central Park. I wish I had been one of them for whom he
    performed!

  4. Yeah, right. So, they timed the demolition exactly with two planes hitting
the freaking buildings? Right near where the towers once stood is the
Brooklyn Bridge. Could I interest you in buying it? Apparently, you'll
believe anything. BTW, Petit got his equipment into the buildings because
they were still under construction and he and his friends dressed as
    construction workers.

  5. There is a good documentary about this on Netflix called man on wire. Wait
til you see the part about the cops trying kill him when they got him down.
Pussy cops, not the well spoken officer in the video, vs one of gutsiest
    men of all time.

  7. Keep your warped view of reality to yourself please, your disgusting
attempt to turn both horrible events and beautiful moments into hollywood
movies may be tasteful to you but are disgusting to many who accept reality
    for what it is.
