MSG is king its only bad for you if you eat too much, which is what MSG
makes you do, it makes you want more...mainly cos its that good .... its
safer than salt and i love it

Oh hell, so does THC. Good God the sky is falling!
so does table salt, too much salt can make your body dehydrate faster(you
can actually die from drinking too much sea water)....MSG too has an effect
if you use too much of it, but saying it makes someone dizzy, etc without
any statistical evidence is just nonsense, I'm currently living in
south-east Asia (Malaysia) and I can call bullshit on many of these false
accusation Go and ask your Doctor for a much better info.
BULLSHIT

Sugar is a pure carbohydrate which has no protein (and therefore no amino
acids for that matter, glutamate included). About the salt, you're kind of
right. MSG is a salt but, not all salt is MSG (monosodium glutamate ≠
sodium chloride).
try reading about bpa and try to limit your contact to plastic products

Honestly, it's up to how you eat as an individual. MSG is harmless in small
normal doses. The 1 very important point I never got out of this video is
the definition of "TOO MUCH" or "OVERDOSAGE". For the time being, the only
value we have for that point is the oral lethal dosage[15 to 18 g/kg body
weight in rats and mice respectively, five times greater than the LD50 of
salt (3 g/kg in rats)], Source: Wiki. Oh toward 7:05 and after he mentions
High Concentration. What value is that? No numbers?

Doctors don't receive training in nutrition or specialized training in
neuroscience so, their professional opinion on MSG is going to be more
related to their personal concerns with it. I can see you're struggling
with confirmation bias as you're only justifying the consumption of a
neurotoxin that is known to cause serious brain degeneration, especially
with prolonged consumption. There is a difference between real asian food
and americanized asian food--don't justify one with the other.
This is such BS, most of these things were seen in rats, there is no hard
evidence besides the anecdotal that there are "side effects". I make all my
(mostly Asian) meals from scratch, adding half a teaspoon of MSG to a meal
doesn't seem to make me or my family fat, or stupid and my kid is one of
the best students in her school. You know what else made those nuggets
light up the brain? Salt, sugars, fats and textures. Yeah, but it's all the
msg... This is food hippy bullshit.

When they put "Natural Flavor" on the label like Coco Libre Coconut water.
Is this MSG? Thanks. Kathryn
what about organic soy products ? i didnt hear you you specify between
commercial soy products and organic ones. obviously organic would be better
because it has no artificial flavors, its completely natural but i didnt
hear you state that ...so i assume all soy products are bad unless i decide
to do further research on it. I drink a lot of organic soy milk ..and i
know soy milk in that natural form carries a lot of health benefits and
prevents osteoporosis and heart disease etc.
MSG is probably the most overused chemical sweetener. I don't see why they
just use sugar, it's more or less the same thing with less effects.

It's definitely very bad like aspartame, they both cause brain tumors if
you eat large amounts
So why is it that one of the things that people with the neurovascular
disease erythromelagia consistently react to is msg? In this disease there
are a variety of environmental triggers and sensitivities trigger episodes
of extreme burning pain in the extremities as well as hyperemic and
inflamed blood vessels and very red skin. I have this disease which is
exceptionally rare and msg causes an episode of these symptoms every time.
The argument msg as it naturally occurs in food and the man made
