  1. Let's have an election here under that video, whether we want to send you to prison.
I bet the majority here would vote to send you to jail.

Did you understand the problem of democracy? Just because the majority is voting for something, that doesnt mean it's ethical.

Im from germany and maybe you didnt know that, but Hitler came to power due to a democratic election.
You should read Hans-Hermann Hoppe "democracy – the god that failed", or watch /watch?v=ngpsJKQR_ZE (it's even not a majority!)

  3. Through trauma maybe, like Stockholm Syndrome? It's definitely an interesting question. You have to also take into consideration that people in America believe that a woman who had never had sex was impregnated by god and gave birth to his son, who was also resurrected from the dead after he was killed by people. It's all like trauma based conditioning. This is why people go around like zombies all the time.

The Bolshevist revolution in Russia was the work of Jewish brains,of Jewish dissatisfaction,of Jewish planning, whose goal is to create a new order in the world. What was performed in so excellent a way in Russia, thanks to Jewish brains, and because of Jewish dissatisfaction, and by Jewish planning, shall also, through the same Jewish mental and physical forces, become a reality all over the world

  5. You send your money to a small group of people far away even tho you do not like what they do with it because they will probably hurt you if you don't. The small group of heavily armed people use their power to influence the news and ideas you receive. How do people not see this conflict of interest on the part of the small heavily armed and violent group?

  6. PWN (verb)
    1. An act of dominating an opponent.
    2. Great, ingenious; applied to methods and objects.
Originally dates back to the days of WarCraft, when a map designer mispelled "Own" as "Pwn". What was originally supose to be "player has been owned." was "player has been pwned".

  7. You cant know who reads and doesnt post. There is no rational justification for cynicism. The people who read a discussion of the Fed are, at least, intelligent and intellectually curious. Rand’s ideas are spreading. See the recent CPAC conference on C-SPAN (online) for many mentions of Atlas Shrugged.

Changing the topic: recall the 1960s, “Question Authority.” Now liberals mean and sometimes say, “Don’t Question Authority.”

  10. Let's see, I am a fascist, a bootlicker, a German, and a philosophical idealist. I have religious faith and I am despicable and I am mindless. In light of all that, maybe it is too much to expect my eyes to be opened by one paragraph of 'facts' written by the Cheshire Cat or anybody else from the Mad Tea Party 😉

  11. Everything is interconnected. Everything causes or implies something definite. Reasoning is contextual and hierarchical, building knowledge upon knowledge. Surgery is based upon anatomy. Building a house is based on knowing how to hammer, saw, and measure. Who says A must say B. There is no safe place to escape from the destructiveness of the evasion of reason. Reality is real and will not obey man's wishes and tears. Survival requires knowledge. Emotions are not knowledge.

  12. >corporate plutocracy seems to have won the day

Like Nazis toward Jews, the slightist influence of a hated group is fantatically viewed as total control. US capitalism has been decreasing since late 19th century Progressivism (Marxism Lite). There is a vast octopus of economic controls and taxes on business. Plutocracy is crony socialism.

  13. Democracy (unlimited majority rule, mobocracy) is the fanatic, it-takes-a-village lynch mob now & the past. Its part of common human experience that is reality to man from cave dwellers to postmodernists. "Functioning democracy" is a package deal of individual rights and democracy, an unstable contradiction that ,in the non-Pragmatist, ideological long run, will go one way or the other. US democracy caused fascist economic controls and depression.

    "Functioning" for what purpose?!

  14. Thankfully the concept of democracy has been developed a little since Plato and Aristotle. Today we can look towards numerous countries as examples of functioning democracies – even though none might be perfect. The current setback in the US, where a corporate plutocracy seems to have won the day, might seem discouraging but IMHO the US should give democracy another chance. The desire to do so is evident in places as diverse as the Occupy Movement and reasonable elements of the Tea Party.

  15. I find it most amusing to see that Rothbard's faithful minions have refined his habit of making grandiose pronouncements not funded in reality. to something of an art form. Keep up the good work, and some day the movement might provide us with some passable stand-up comedians!

  16. For multicultural nihilists, the individual rights nation of Israel is evil because its culture is objectively superior to its primitive enemies and because Israelis know and value that fact. Multicultutalists dont want to lift up the oppressed. They want to destroy the successful. Multiculturalism is Christianity w/o God,ie, everything must be sacrificed.

  17. They were the practical result of Progressive collectivism and statism. Ideas from intellectuals (witch doctors, priests, university professors) are the basic cause. The Fed could not have been created in the Enlightenment era of individual rights. Notice the Constitutional power to coin money and regulate its value. That power is an error but, I presume, a mistaken application of individual rights.

  18. How can you know what I think?

"Thoughts are free, who can guess them?
They flee by like nocturnal shadows.
No man can know them, no hunter can shoot them
with powder and lead: Thoughts are free!

I think what I want, and what delights me,
still always reticent, and as it is suitable.
My wish and desire, no one can deny me
and so it will always be: Thoughts are free!"

  19. And herein lies the problem. You think that you are an agent of the state and must support some goon in a blue uniform to threaten, assault, or murder a person innocent of injuring any person. A person with arguments superior to yours has not committed a crime against you. You are a psychopath and would do well to hide your head from ethical people who hunt creeps like you.

  21. Democracy causes fascism, as Plato and Aristotle proved for all time. The unsatisfying compromises and indecisiveness of the Weimar Republic caused such political, economic ,and cultural chaos that Hitler was seen as a solution. Ominous Parallels, Leonard Peikoff.

  22. Germany learned from it's mistake to leave democracy undefended against the forces of fascism. The result is called Streitbare Demokratie (see Wikipedia article 'Streitbare_Demokratie', in English). Maybe it is time for the USA to learn that same lesson, because as George Carlin remarked: "Germany lost the Second World War. Fascism won it."

  23. There is no freedom without democracy. In a functioning democracy, the roles of government are many and varied, and go far beyond the protection of individual lives. To give just one example, one role of a democratic government is to defend the democracy against undemocratic forces like yourself.
