  1. In 1985 G. D. Searle sold out their product aspartame to a company you may
have heard of……….MONSANTO……Now I hope you all can dismiss these
frightening allegations, because we all know MONSANTO only has our best
    interests at heart……NutraSweet dreams……….

  2. I had a friend in college who drank nothing but Pepsi Max (which is full of
aspartame) for the entire 4 years I knew him. Every single break/lunch we
had, there it was, Pepsi friggin' Max! By the 3rd year, he had completely
lost all focus on anything related to work, couldn't concentrate on a
single thing and would usually just drift off/day dream when people were
    talking to him.

Also, aspartame does this amazing thing, where even though it's "Zero
Calories", that first sip goes instantly goes to the Nucleus Accumbens (aka
pleasure centre) – which controls the release of dopamine in the brain, and
    makes you Want food.

    ……It's Unacceptable! >__<

  3. I pretty much have to avoid this stuff altogether. I've gotten very sick
from just one can of Fresca before. I remember having 2 cans of diet coke
and an entire pack of icebreakers one time and feeling miserable that
entire week and fainted in my geometry class and again in the dorm. I even
remember having a seizure because of it in the middle of the night. It was
scary because I hurt my cat and knocked stuff off my dresser. PAY ATTENTION
TO LABELS PEOPLE!!! I now read all the ingredients to any drink mix, gum,
mints, medications, sweetener, and many other things I buy. And I'm worried
that it may be in my school food because I get headaches a lot when at
    school.

I'm actually drinking regular soda (7up) as I'm writing this. Yes high
fructose corn syrup isn't good for you either but I think because I'm a
soda drinker that I may be doing my body a favor by drinking this rather
    than diet. I'm skinny anyway.

Tens of thousands of complaints to the FDA. Proof that Food & Drug Admin
approves big Corporate interests and not the healthy & natural foods and
    non-tainted products.

Your government officials are on-the-take! By 1998, aspartame products were
the cause of 80% of complaints to the FDA about food additives.

Of the 166 studies felt to have relevance for questions of human safety, 74
had Nutrasweet industry (those who make aspartame) related funding and 92
were independently funded. One hundred percent of the research performed by
the company who makes aspartame confirmed aspartame's safety, *whereas 92%
of the independently funded research found problems with consuming
    aspartame.*

  6. This is cool, watching this video and drinking on my 3rd coke zero
vanilla… Any particular reason I am feeling the sudden urge to hunt down
all the FDA and chemists responsible for using it and begin a national
    killing spree?

Fox is fear mongering news anyways. They are nothing but bias creeps who
only report for the benefit of their ratings.

quickly and strongly enough to know it's there and it's the cause. If you
don't think this stuff affects you, you may be wrong.

same as toothpaste, but, if you use the top brand dental products you get
dumbed-down with aspartame and fluoride, and if you don't you get cavities,
agony and then dumbed-down with mercury fillings, it is indeed genius and
heinous how they attack us from all sides. Another atrocity is labeling
aspartame containing products as "diet", appealing to obese people at risk
of diabetes, when a side effect is blood glucose disorders. Another thing
that disturbs me is putting aspartame in flavored medicines and powders,
when the side effects include weakness, so it may make your recovery worse.

aspartame, and is a direct result from the maternal ingestion of aspartame.
The ingestion of aspartame can make pilots more susceptible to seizures and
    vertigo.

The food industry claims that aspartame helps in losing weight, but why is
obesity then becoming such an ever increasing problem?

Aspartame is a very sweet chemical, responsible for a host of health
problems such as obesity, diabetes, MS, epilepsy, cancer, brain disorders,
    migraines, ADHD, etc.
