  1. "Tough times are ahead…tougher than you can imagine."

Well said… Working on bracing for the impact and hoping to lessen the blow for those around me.

  2. If you live near a military base, talk to some of the active duty. I wouldn't ask random people on the internet or a recruiter. We have fine men and women in our military.

  4. Yeah I wanted the dollar to collapse. I wanted my money to continue to be devalued so I can work harder and harder to buy things I need to survive that are increasingly cost more and more. I allowed this to happen. Your country is so much better isn't it? You make those politicians do what you want don't you? You're in control of your country. This was years in the making long before I was born, dense. I didn't "allow" any of this to happen. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Not even you.

  7. When the dollar goes….so does the US. Then you will finally reap what you have sown. I don’t feel at all sorry for any of you…you allowed this to happen. Tough times are ahead…tougher than you can imagine.

  8. And Fabian, remember, the Chinese are not at all worried about a few months/years of pain or discomfort if ten years down the road they sit atop the mountain. The Eastern and Western philosophies run radically different, not to mention the level of expectation in the West from a bloated and blinded populace…versus the cultural tradition of working toward societal good in the East

  9. PM are a great hedge against inflation, safe harbor for those who have less faith in government. The good news that the so- called middle class cannot afford to interfere in the grand scheme of things yet.

  10. Not only that but the entire world economy would collapse because the dollar, and so many other currencies are being synthetically propped up. There are derivative & deficit-bubbles totaling into the hundreds of trillions.

  11. In order to bring about the necessary changes [for TPTB] and take down Iran, [they] must go through Syria. They will. The alternative media made them pull into the pit-stop, but the race is far from over. They will simply create or find another reason to back the FSA/Al Qaeda/jihadists.

  13. It will be interesting to see how Congress actually votes… and if Obama will decide to attack Syria even if Congress says no.

Clearly the "big money" players want America to invade Syria, but their interests are not the same as that of ordinary Americans…. a problem for members of Congress and the President especially on this issue. It really puts some members of Congress between the proverbial rock and a hard place. Piss off their handlers and face a well financed opponent or lose voters

  14. To politely represent the opposite opinion:

The mark of a false belief is it's need to continue to change to adapt to reality.

    i. Last week: Obama and America will definately attack Syria because of the petrodollar.

ii. This week: America won't attack Syria because of Russian and Chinese leverage.

On China: We've disagreed on this before. The IMF warning is in order to keep China's economy growing & stable. It needs to shift. That's not the same as wiping out America as an economic entity.

  15. Like Syrian Girl says. Its a terrible idea to take chemical weapons from the Syrians who now are set up just like Libya and Iraq were set up…I hope the Russians are not part of this game…Now Terrorist of USA can attack Stria without defense.

  16. Even more so than a currency war it is a resource war. No matter which side wins this all it means is financial power and resources will be consolidated either by the Anglo-American or Russo-China alliance. Either way where fucked…

  17. Banks have a shortage of electrons and bits to store all of the extra zeros needed to create more money? Even ink is no longer a limitation to creating money out of thin air.

  18. This is a currency war all central banks have been printing like there is o tomorrow; we will have brief peace do to the ink shortages. The smokescreen is so we don’t all panic run out and buy up what little is available or invest and screw up their plans

  19. One thing for sure – That Federal Government has so much overhead – i feel it will collapse one day – not sure when , but they keep putting on debt , and you can only tax american people so much.

End of an empire i guess – i guess we will have to do the best with what we got.

  20. One of the initiatives at the G20 was dealing with international tax evasion. Its pretty clear their setting the stage for a world currency. All they need to do is destroy the existing power structure specifically the dollar and consolidate power in the aftermath. I keep thinking this whole Syria thing was going to be used as a catalyst to set up the US for its downfall to initiate all this. Its all speculative but connecting the dots seems to reveal a hidden agenda.

  21. then Syria says, I'll call your bluff and accept your offer, now what? this is all such BS. I feel for the common folk Syrians being one of the last men standing, before it's all brought down to a level playing field

  22. Step 1) China stops printing money
    Step 2) Chinese currency rises
Step 3) Chinese people can afford the stuff the produce
Step 4) China becomes wealth and decadent
Step 5) Lazy Chinese lose their industrial power to poorer Americans

  24. Globalism has developed many systemic problems now – no one trusts anyone else.
    .
But the biggest problem for Globalism is of course the peasants in this new world Feudo-Marxist oligarchical experiment – the peasants have pretty much rejected the whole 'Climate Change' Communism construct.
    .
Without the Carbon Tax-peasants 'believing' in a Fire and Brimstone kollective-ist religion that supports Globalism, then Globalism will fail.
