He indeed lives (or at least did) live in Flagstaff, AZ years back- he was an awesome guy, used to come into a video store I worked at. Very down to earth.
I doubt that Everett will ever read this, but I grew up across the street from him when we were children, and we attended the same schools until we each went to college. He is a very kind person as many of you have mentioned. It has been ages since I have heard from him, but I'd love to have a short reunion to catch up on the passing years. If he reads this, he can find me rather easily. I would never reveal his location as he is private.

Also, I was reading all of your comments on here & you said that Everett McGill retired & is living with his wife in Flagstaff, Arizona…I was just wondering of all the places to retire to he chose Arizona. Lol!…I guess we all have different taste! I personally used to live there & didn't like it for some reason!
I was in grade school when I first saw Everett McGill in silver-bullet & even as a young girl who didn't care much for boys thought he was an eye catcher! He's nearly 30 years older than me but I still find him handsome!!!! Love him as Marcus Penn in Undersiege 2. Great actor & a wonderful human being!!!!
I've heard that Everett McGill retired after making "The Straight Story" and now lives with his wife in Flagstaff, Arizona. I miss him SO much! Judging from things I've read posted on other sites, he has many, many fans who miss him as well. People who've met him him say he's just the nicest guy. You must be correct about his being a private person, as I have had a difficult time finding information about him. Thank you so very much for sharing your experience! LOVE his eyes!
