Hi… If you want to build one, below are some key points for you:
1).Suggest to use hundreds of small mirrors with high optical reflection
rate, dimensions of the mirror could be around 3cm x 3cm (better than 5cm x
5cm,) glass mirrors will have better flatness than aluminum or plastic
mirrors. 2).If you would like have cost-down on this science project, maybe
you can try to get a used/old parabolic dish, no need to use a new dish.
3).You can use normal twin adhesive to paste the mirrors. ^___^

thanks for quick answer. Now i wheel build a similar 95 cm diameter. Then i
write the experiments. At first i wanted to use acryl plastic mirror but
cannot find in my area :(. What is the size of the mirrors? I wheel use 2×2
cm

find small glass mirrors, there is another way: to use optical reflective
film to replace the glass mirrors, some silver or gold reflective film
(papers with mirror-like surface) are good in reflecting sun light. Enjoy

I understand the parabolic mirror salvaged from a satellite dish but I do
not understand the reference to the jet fighter.

I asked a glass mirror factory to make those square mirrors. I sent the
specification to them first and then they made the mirrors for me.
