One World Trade Center Is Now America’s Tallest Building
I don't feel like it's a tribute to anything I think is important. I'd
have preferred a park and a homeless health center. Now that would be a
tribute to American kindness,
To us chicagoans,..it's still not taller,..sears tower has the highest
floors,..meaning if yu were on the highest floor yu'd still be looking down
at the freedom tower,..but still, and rightly so,..the freedom tower is
truly a strong looking bldg,…shouldda made two of 'em and renamed it the
world trade center…showing the world our power, and contempt for what was
done before on 9/11.
Nice looking building (BUT !!) I think we should have built two buildings
that look just like the ones that got destroyed. Why? The first reason is
that we could have sent the world a message that we want that same sky line
back.

The only thing that belongs on the site if the "lost" twin towers, is some
sort of Memorial! A Civilian/Fireman/Police version of the Vietnam Wall!!!

How did the people who built the new towers not get freaked out by how high

The spire isn't a spire, it's an antenna, and doesn't contribute to the
height of the building

roof height of the 1world trade is only 1,300
I agree! I don't like it at all. I would hope people would not rent.
Finding out the real truth on why the real towers were taken down sickens
me and this building gives me bad vibes.

The tower may be the same, but our country remains the same. We don't feel
the same way we did on 9/11 as we do now. Its fumn
the CN tower is just a stick. Technically a building is a building with 40%
or more of its full height containing occupiable floors. The CN tower is
just a tower, not a skycraper or a building. Therefore it goes to the world
trade center
Watch 'Rising: Rebuilding Ground Zero' and it will tell you just how much
they put into advanced protection measures for the Freedom Tower. I like
it. Looks great, btw.
Over 400 feet of the tower is a "vanity spire" .. The actual tower is not
so tall after all . a buildings height should be measured by the
inhabitable floors NOT by the added antenna adding height . For all the
money and effort put into this tower it rally is Unimpressive . Should have
rebuilt the twins only taller !
The CN tower is not considered a buildings its more like a piece of metal.
