One World Trade Center (full video)

One World Trade Center is the primary building of the new World Trade Center complex in New York City’s Lower Manhattan and is the tallest building in the United States. The 104-story super tall skyscraper stands on the northwest corner of the 16-acre (6.5 ha) World Trade Center site. The tower’s steel structure topped out on August 30, 2012. On May 10, 2013, the final component of the skyscraper’s spire was installed, making One World Trade Center the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and the fourth-tallest skyscraper in the world by pinnacle height.

  1. Non Engineers: INSIDE JOB IT WAS THE EVIL GOVERNMENT
Engineers: Actually it wasn’t an inside job. It was part design of the
building, part materials used, part the fact the supporting columns were
totally fractured, part bending stress of beam, plus plane impact. Get an
    education for once.

  2. I bet these guys that built this amazing structure had so much pride when
they finally finished it. I bet there wasnt a dry eye as they finished
this. I would love to be able to go to NY and take a tour of this building
and pay my respects to those who lost their lives on 9/11

  3. What saddens me is how naive and uneducated Americans have become about
history. We don’t know about operation north wood, or operation paper clip,
or operation coast, or the Tuskegee experiment, or the radiation of Israeli
children through the ringworm project, or operation gladio, or operation
Ajax, or project shad, or the fact that the word “conspiracy theory” was
created to demonize individuals skeptic of the warren commission. No reads
anymore. And yes, these are actual declassified operation made available
through the freedom information act. But hey, do look it up at your
library, ignore it at your peril I’m just a tinfoil head right?

  4. I wonder how much this architect got paid for designing a rectangle with
the sides sliced off of it??? I bet he got the idea from his down syndrome
grandson chewing the corners off the dining room table legs. What a fucking
    embarrassment.

  6. God put it into the wicked hearts and minds of Americans to rebuild after
9/11. I can wager a good bet that terrorists will slam an airplane into One
World Trade Center and that is because the Lord is America’s enemy.

  7. Wake up People……………… Nobody asked what happened to all the
companies inside the old World Trade Center. For god Sake, it was the WORLD
TRADE CENTER. And where all those companies today? Which bank or insurance
company had them insured? Just to buy a single Room in World Trade Center
costed lots of money. Yet some Companies had bought a whole floor. Now
which bank could afford giving back the insurance to all the companies
which was ruined by the Crash? I would really want to know that. But untill
today not a single complained or come out in public. Thats why I know this
was an Inside job. All the companies and each floor had gotten their Cash
befor the Crash. So most of them were compensated when the crash happened.

I am sure that if the Government wasnt involved, Those companies would have
sued the the hell of the United states government and New Yorks City. And
just think that it was not only the Companies Now please to all of you who
doesnt know this was an inside job, NOW YOU KNOW!

  8. Building looks nice to me :3
I heard about a new building and I’m amazed how far they come. Reason
people dislike it is crazy. This building structure should be stronger and
safer and that’s good enough for me. I gotta look more info on this
building to see what the inside looks like know if the outside finish over
    a year ago.

  10. America, get over 9/11. Thousands of people die every day and you keep
rebooting the fucking deaths of these people in the towers. Get over it.
Death is a footstep of life and you’re not getting over it. We’re tired of
hearing it. Sure, we all cried about it, but it’s been thirteen years, just
    stop.

  11. I don’t have anything against the building itself, BUT it doesn’t belong in
downtown NYC. It sticks out like a sore thumb, completely out of place
against the Gothic architecture of the other skyscrapers, and it dwarfs
them too much. The twin towers were a perfect fit, but this is just poor
    design.

  12. They should’ve just rebuilt the twin towers, taller and stronger than ever,
instead they settled with fear tower and it’s okay design. Now that it’s
complete, it looks somewhat incomplete with its naked spire redesign.

the queen of England soon after;we know now whom he is loyal too. Call your

its too late for their kings;we don’t want dead royalty in the streets now
    do we?.

  14. Can somebody explain to me why people dislike the way the building looks?
Sure it’s not a work of art but imho the Twin Towers were friggin ugly (no
    offense intended).

  16. I think all the hate at this tower is about more that just the World Trade
Center. I think 9/11 represents a sharp contrast of New York of the 20th
century and modern New York. 9/11 is a defining moment of an American era,
similar to pre and post 1968, or pre and post WWII before that. 9/11 also
marked a generational era shift from Gen X to Millennials in concordance
with the change of the century. Everything changed in the world since then
and 9/11 is often seen as the central turning point. The construction of
this building represents the confirmation that the world changes and the
past is always further receding. This is always hard for people to accept.
I see the hate on this building as a misplaced manifestation of nostalgia.

should’ve build two just like the originals in my opinion. There’s no
