I taught for a few years and was astounded that not only did students not
have the ability to think critically, but they were extremely uncomfortable
with the thought of exchanging ideas and challenging notions. Now at my

salivating all through social mediums. People's responses are the result of
years of conditioning from media and education. Today, society does not

innovate, but rather a workforce that is trained to perform and generate
production. Difficult to find people willing to embrace rigour when it
comes to having their beliefs, values or lifestyles challenged. Instead,
preferring to maintain the status quo. Gen Y is comfortable with that, but
then again, Gen y require daily positive feedback – pavlov again. Nice
