I don’t know what to make of this guy. He is beating around the bush when it comes to the real argument at hand. The majority of people who don’t vote are essentially apart of the marginalized sector – to some degree. Thousands remain homeless…and yes there are homeless shelters, but many are infested with bed bugs. Also its the baby boomer gener. that got the harper govt. a majority. Bridgette kudos, you just stood up for an entire generation. Suck it Harper.

Isn't democracy people? Not "harpers Government"?
The majority of ridings in Canada voted conservative (mainly because the bottom half of Ontario and the prairie provinces voted conservative, which make up the majority of ridings), but they only got 39% of total votes. NDP came in a close second with approximatively 31%. In fact the NDP wanted to implement a proportional government system which would better reflect the overall vote of Canada as oppose to the current system.

i have much respect for her, you need to take a stand for what you believe in no matter what your job, whether you are a soldier, a government employee or a vender on the street(which started the middle east's uprising against their dictator governments) i think it is bull crap that you are to honor your oath, like the when the us soldiers where honoring their oaths in the genocide in Vietnam and in Iraq, my point is that if you see wrong is being done take a stand no matter what your position.

This is a parliament that works only for those within it and the rich and the powerful whose agenda is priority number 1 with most of the people who sit in that parliament, the same parliament that continues to treat aboriginal people like second class citizens, that simply doesn't acknowledge the existence of the poor and never has.
