The World Trade Centre Towers took eight years for workers to finish. There were 10 000 workers who built the Twin Towers. Sadly, 60 workers died as the job progressed.

In 1974, Phillippe Petit made a world record by attaching a rope between the two buildings of the Twin Towers and walked across from one building to another.

The Twin Towers were a brainchild of chairman of the Chase Manhattan Bank, David Rockefeller, and the former governor of New York, Nelson Rockefeller.

  1. I’ve heard all the conspiracy theories regarding 911, one plausible theory
    is: the twin towers were not upto too building code,so therefore could not
    be insured when the renewed was due in October 2001, The Bush
    administration were pushing for a bigger defence budjet from congress a
    year earlier and they didn’t get it, conspiricies get a bit wilder from
    this point forward, it would knock out two birds with one stone, and is
    very convenient to justify spending billions on defence after an terrorist
    attack on american soil, it all knits together rather nicely doesn’t it.
