  1. You’re essentially saying that L-GLUTAMATE is the same thing as MSG and
then site all the reasons that L-GLUTAMATE is safe; that seems like saying
H20 (water) is the same thing as H2SO4 (sulfuric acid)- so lets talk about
    how safe water is.

Could you not find any evidence to support that MSG is safe?
I get headaches if I use seasonings that have MSG, double blind study too-
cook didn’t know it had msg and I didn’t know, got headache and checked.
ate some food without msg, it was fine, ate it with msg and got headache
    awhile after meal.

This video is just nonsense, you cannot alter something and say it is the
same- its been altered and has to stand on its own merit.

  2. Serotonin is naturally present in your brain but if ingested it is
    extremely poisonous…

It isn’t because glutamates ions are naturally present that it is safe! You
haven’t mentioned the effects of glutamates on memory!

  3. lol you are talking to mcdonalds of amerikkka. These fats would even
ignore you if you injected mcnuggets with cyanide. A strict vegan diet is
    the only path to healthiness!

graphic animation jam packed into this shit. Also the voice over is clearly
done by a professional. This video wasn’t free to produce, someone paid for
this to be made. Unsettling to say the least.

  5. Why did I scroll down to the comments, I should have known it’d have been
full of fucking idiots denying scientific research and their own
    government’s food research.

MSG is perfectly safe you bunch of sensationalist, conspiracy theorist
    morons.

There’s got to be a way I can filter YouTube comments based on keywords,
I’ll have to look for a browser extension, fuck me, there is literally no
worse place for user comments than YouTube, it’s a cesspool of the
stupidest people society has to offer.

aspartame and milk from dairy cow injected with artificial hormones.
    Mmmhmm, Yum….Der.

  7. It’s my job to seek out accurate information? But that makes it so that I
am less likely to get angry when I receive only partial information.
Getting angry is most of the fun of misinformation. Remember when fat was
bad? And remember when a couple of decades later carbohydrates were bad?
    Good times…

  8. This is disinformation at it’s best. MSG is crapola. MSG headache anyone?
I’ts not supposed to affect anyone negatively if it is generally approved
    as safe.

about stuff like this. i know people who say msg will give them a migraine
every time and they avoid it at all costs.

  10. TRUE PROPHETS OF GOD Jeremiah 28:9
Telling the future is the purview of God and He reveals this information to
people through prophets. The simple but true test of whether someone is
sent by God in the Biblical days (and now) is if what s/he says comes
through. In these days leading up to Jesus’ return the significant
prophesies are written in the Bible already. The future is not as important
as the present. Now is the time to seek out JESUS.

  11. Funny I can take soy sauce but I cant take MSG… So theres obviously a
difference. And it happens every time, hence why I stopped taking MSG
products but unless the soy sauce is different in America vs Europe then I
would call bullshit to MSG being in soy sauce. Unless he’s talking about a
similar compound found in soy sauce and just calling it MSG, even though
its not… Next time I buy the sauce im checking the label. Ive never had
    an adverse affect from it….

  12. Oh wow, it is like witnessing an Anti Health Campaign in the making. I do
not eat MSG I choose to avoid anything “Chemists” have produced in the last
100 years to replace REAL ingredients in our foods. As a result it means
that I am not eating processed foods any more, because there are no
processed foods without chemicals any more in the market, in NA. So I
switched to fresh foods, only and that is it, that is where my money goes
    only.

Because the food industry has replaced real food with all kinds of
alternate substances such as MSG and a myriad of Corn Derivative Chemicals,
that are used as substitutes to the real Ingredients, because they are
cheaper to use so more profits to make, to reproduce things like Taste,
Texture Composition and enhance the Counter Lifetime of products. Thanks,
    but No thanks food Industry.

  13. are you kidding me? msg is a neurotoxin. msg has been linked to heart
problems, memory loss, cancer, obesity, infertility ect. almost all msg is
genetically modified. next they’ll tell you that aspartame is great for
you.. go do “science” somewhere else.

  14. I take it that the food industry paid the American Chemical Society to
produce this video. Yes, the food industry generates larger profits by
cramming its products full of MSG. The chemical must be cheaper than salt.
But, the consumer pays the price.

My daughter ate Chinese food yesterday and Chinese food is often loaded
with MSG. She had to spend two hours in afternoon classes feeling like she
was going to die. She had a horrendous migraine headache. She vomited. She
couldn’t see and she couldn’t hear herself talk. She was crying by the time
she got to my car. She had never had this awful experience before. So,
avoid MSG and go for products that contain better quality seasonings.

  15. Horrible coverage on the subject, and intentionally white washing the
    subject.

Not even mentioning that “enhancing” flavor can increase the desire to
    consume food.

In other words, I wonder who is funding “Reactions”?

definitive answer as to why, it is your job to dig in to find out for
yourself. This is what science is all about. Not accepting something as
    true without proper evidence.”

  17. Google image search “MSG induced obesity in mice.” It’s a common protocol
in obesity studies to fatten lab rats up. It’s not that MSG causes acute or
even chronic problems directly. Rather, it can cause addictive eating
behavior in some people, leaving them wanting more food in general.

  18. Nah fuck that chinese restaurants have buckets of huge msg, most sodium
products are actually dangerous in large quantities, the same thing can be
said of sodium flouride. Harmless in bits but after awhile its not.

  19. Thing is, why should restuarants use MSG? It indicates that they’re not
confident in their own cooking skills and have to rely on using chemicals
to make it tastier. That already makes MSG less credible. Secondly, most
chinese restuarants use tons of MSG. Theres MSG in the sauce, and the MSG
you sprinkle manually. I haven’t eaten out since, and feel so much better

  20. This video was made by those that produce and sell MSG. At the end of the
video it stated it is produced by The American Chemical Society! So they
made a video to (fool you) prove that MSG is natural and healthy, which it
is NOT in both cases. MSG excites you brain cells to death. It’s an
excitotoxin! I personally can always tell when a restaurant is cheating
because I have a MSG headache as I finish the meal.

  21. You are a liar who got all facts wrong !glutamate does occur naturally but
Mano sodium glutamate is an inorganic compound that screws with the natural
receptors of the body.2 the Japanese used it in their K rations during the
war and quickly it it was removed making there soldiers logy and ill
prepared to fight in Japan today it is a banned substance restaurants put
in their food because their food is tasteless,it also comes with different
names such as hydrolyzed yeast or sodium glutamate to trick the public what
it does is it swells the brain if you have an IQ below 124 it probably
doesn’t bother you if you don’t have all the facts shut up disinformation
    is killing our society

  22. L-Sodium Glutamate is NOT the same as Mono-Sodium Glutamate, the video just
claimed that the body produces MSG when it makes LSG, you change a hydrogen
atom in sugar to a chlorine atom and it’s similar, but not the same and
unusable by the body, thus why it acts as a laxative, morons
