  1. Yeah, its not like the Japanese didnt kill 20 million people in China and southeast asia….oh wait lets cherry pick history to feed our irrational hatred of America and revise history.

  2. You are correct in saying I don't understand your use of the phrase "would never have surrendered." In the world I live in, "never" means "never". It doesn't mean, "Well, as long it's it's convenient to keep fighting, I'll keep on fighting"

  3. Why are you people saying American's deserved this because of what we have done in the past, yeah killing is wrong but in war, but in war sorry that's what happens. This is a terrorist attack. Why does it matter that it was America and we deserved it? Even if we did, how would you feel if this happened to your country. Terrorism is every where, not just the states. Please, if you're going to bash me for saying this, at least please try to under stand.

  4. The Japanese would never have surrendered? Actually, the Japanese DID surrender. It was on board the USS Missouri, on September 2, 1945. It was in all the newspapers….

  5. You seem to forget that Spain was officially neutral during WWII and, since the Pact of Madrid and your country's entrance into the UN, our two countries have been relatively close. The Japanese would have never surrendered, the bombs (although terrible) were the lesser of the two evils and saved hundreds of thousands of lives on both sides of the conflict. Comparing this to 9/11 is ridiculous and you're confusing terrorism with legitimate wartime military operations.

  6. If they built the same towers people would forget the deaths of 9/11 and that would be bad. Just embrace the new tower like people did for the WTC in the 70s. Bigger than Empire State Building hemorrhage skyline now its and icon and so will this one be for all the children born in 21st century.

  9. If we did not kill them, they would kill us.
Not to mention, would you rather live in a world where everyone spoke Japanese?
Plus, it's not like the bombers were in those towers.
    OH WAIT…
    Actually, nevermind.

  11. …. (cue dramatic fade)
The decision was made to stop the war before we lost more lives. We bombed them and it stopped. War CAN'T be played nicely. Nice and war are paradoxical. Sorry we didn't try and work things out nicer or kill them sweetly.

Grow up, the longer you hold onto your naive view on life, it will only make your epiphany more depressing.

  12. @mhsable no, no, I like the US and many American people, I just don't like the people who justify 2 nuclear weapons for an "little attack" (compared with the bomb) like Pearl Harbour. (sorry if I made any mistake, I'm not from an 'English' country)

  13. yeah, they killed the same amount of people… oh wait, the americans killed 200.000 more people than the japaneses, and the subsequent consequences because of the radioactivity, of course. Both attacks weren't right, but one was much worse than the other…
