If you go watch videos of 9/11 while it happened, the police and firemen were the ones claiming there were bombs going off inside the buildings after each place hit respectively.

You see, the plane actually hit the building and went inside it, then blew up the inside. That's enough to collapse a building. The planes were huge too.
The terrorist didn't become commercial pilots lol. Before 9/11 the security in the airport was bad, these guys managed to get knives into the plane. They had experience with flying planes, they had some fake guns, they weren't really guns, but they told the people they were, they also said there was a bomb in the plane to scare the people.

The plane sliced right through the towers, which caused them to collapse, it's common sense, it is possible for planes to do this.
