They have actual masons saying “You take a good man, and you make him
better.” That is Free Masonry’s goal in my mind. The reason for their
secrecy, imo, is simply to avoid the primitive my religion versus your
religion mentality, which, to me, is an enlightened principle considering
how many religious wars have been fought and continue to be fought… To
think of Masonry as anything other than a group of intelligent men
gathering to share intelligent conversation is nothing more than the
survival of your ego and the failing to be lifted into what the ancient
greeks described as the aether; which is saddening to me. This is my humble

There is nothing secret about Masonry. You can call their lodge and look up
members online. Any Mason who tells you that it is a secret is just hiding
the fact that he does not know much about it. I love being a Mason and I am
