  1. Why did you gaff a shark that is 100% illegal to keep anyway? This pier is too far off the ground and caused far too much injury to the shark for a man-shot. Want a real shark, pay for a trip further out like real fisherman or net it. You surely punctured its lungs and/or injured its gills for this? There is no way that shark survived with that much blood coming out of its gills. Next time, go off a beach and catch and release. No local would gaff a sandbar because we know its illegal.

  2. Hey guys my name is Jacob and i'm the one that caught the shark. Bel eve me when i say I hate gaffing sharks. The locals suggested it. I usually beach them or when a I have a rope or a net i use that. More videos coming soon and you will see that i usually do this the right way. and the shark survived as far as i know we were there for five days and i never heard of a dead shark being found. Thanks for the input though I'm glad to see that people are concerned for the animals safety.
