  1. Thanks for posting the video. My Dad is from here, I spent every summer I could here until I could make it my permanent residence. I was very happy here for 25 years. My Mom became ill and circumstances required I move. I miss it so very much. I will move back one day. Until then I can dream of it while watching this video

  2. This so reminds me of the visits we'd make to Jekyll when I was just a kid.

    Except that we'd cross the OLD Sydney Lanier Bridge!

    (Don't suppose anyone ever made of video of the old bridge.)

  3. We go to Jekyll most every year — what to do depends on what you like doing! We like to rent and ride bikes, do nature walks, walk on beach, eat at SeaJays and on St Simon's Island at Gnats Landing and Barbara Jeans. There is also a water park, historical tours, a sea turtle center, picnic areas, etc.

    i could list ten things good bout jekyll island right now!
    1. beautiful
    2. uncroweded beach
    3. white sand
    4. good weather
    5. good food.
    6. peopl are veryy nice and respectfull.
    7. beautiful rental houses
    8. usually sunny every day.
    9. the sidney lane bridge is awesome to cross over!
    10. ice cream is the bestt!!!
