  1. Why do they use an ex cocaine addict to say anything at all about marijuana?
Who was the clever person who thought that was a great connection?

That fear mongering. “Marijuana gonna come steal your kids! Ruin your
    family.”

Not even a valid argument as it is easier for kids to get it now than it
will be when it is properly controlled and normalized.

Kids can go to just about any city in the world and buy it in various
dubious quality from shady characters and not even know what they get and
be very likely to be ripped off, scammed or even mugged or poisoned..

The legalizing will hurt the kids argument is just a last grasp of
    desperation.
    Illegal drugs hurt kids.
Kids try it now with no obstacles what so ever because it is illegal and
the CURRENT venues of acquisition are run by money.
The statement that the business is directed by big money falls upon itself
as how it is now is EXACTLY that except all the money is funnelled into
further crime and not returned to society.

When marijuana is sold in proper circles and you have to show ID, the shady
character on the corner who also sells speed and various other bad things
    is out of business.

A marijuana dispensary will NEVER offer you pills or other drugs because
they are OUT of green product like the black market does.

A substantial part of the population currently enjoys it daily.

Reality is that almost all the problems related to so called marijuana
abuse simply comes from the fact that it is illegal.
Ironically a thing that will make you relaxed, by being illegal actually
does the opposite because of the stigma and risk of criminal prosecution
makes it almost impossible to enjoy without much worry.

Every single honest MJ user knows that they will do it regardless if it is
    legal or not.
(as the Kennedy hypocrite even points out (who ever decided he was an
    expert on the subject anyway???))

That scumbag Kennedy is the absolute worst noise maker in the issue because
he has not a single fact or number to show to. He just rehashes the old
scare tactic WHAT ABOUT TEH KIDS?!?!
Wake the fuck up you dimwit attention whores,.. ANY kid who wants to, can
get it at any time because it is already widely available, wIthout any
quality control or even proper guidance on usage/dosage.

FACT: It is not for kids. We don’t want it legalized for kids. The exact
    opposite.

Kennedy just radiates entitlement as an expert of the subject because of
his poor choices of which he wants to put blame elsewhere.
As if he didn’t CHOOSE to take those drugs.
A sorry old clown who never owned up to his choices.

If anything at all, legalization will ensure that it will be dispensed by
knowledgeable people and with educated guidance and usage direction.

Almost a century ago, people like him would want it banned with the
argument that it would make coloured Americans rape white girls and turn
good white boys into raging psychos.

Their argument now lies on “WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?!?!”. They have already
    lost.
Wake the fuck up you ass holes!
Your kids are already doing it because your prohibition lets it flow
    without any real constraints.

“I used to be a corrupt coke whore and I fucked shit up for people.” So the
natural thing for his limited reasoning abilities is to go on a witch hunt
and spam the debate with nonsense and you fools are swallowing it.

Personally I had a serious alcohol problem years ago.
That was entirely my own fault. At the very least I can admit that.

That Kennedy fool argues with about as much weight as I would on a witch
hunt to ban sweet cakes due to my experience with an alcohol habit.

  2. Like I tried to explain to the stoned morons who were prancing around
    screaming legalize marihuana?

It would soon become so expensive it will make cigarettes look cheap. It
will be taxed, regulated, federalized & eventually used against you if you
purchase it in either minor cases in the court room or at work.

But most importantly it would remove the last and only form of capitalism
left in the USA, ask yourself how many family’s depend on small sales to
    support themselves?.

You really want to give the Government complete control? that’s idiocy

  3. It’s a damn shame you use Kenedy for so long. Guys an idiot, the direct
competition to the dangerous drugs he was using is Cannabis. A safe
non-toxic alternative, to the mind twisting dangerously addictive hard core
drugs. If Cannabis were legal he most likely would have never went through
what he did. Now he doesn’t even understand the difference, dumb enough to
go by the federal scheduling. Obviously he thinks POT is an even harder
core more dangerous drug than the pills and coke he was sniffing…..
Soooooo wrong. Cannabis is safe and very mild if handled properly. In the
hands of the black market though, where he wants to keep it, makes it
unsafe, and hands it straight to the kids he wants to protect. Maybe if we
got Kennedy into a Cannabis treatment program we could restore some of the
brain cells and intelligence that he lost… not likely, more likely is
that he will go out like Regan with brain rot from his abuses to his body.

you are. Caught like a rabbit in the headlights now, like the old saying
goes, ‘There’s none so pious as the newly reformed’ -And that’s YOU isn’t
it; coked-up, drunk and pilled-up, you crash into the White House and then
try to blame cannabis for all YOUR addiction problems,
ONLY BECAUSE YOU WERE CAUGHT. Anyone who listens to you is just joining-in
    with your charade.

if he did. One of the worst hypocrites of all time.

  7. not 80’s dumbass. early 90’s FUCK POT should be legal, and all imprisoned
on pot charges released, then all those who vehemently opposed it be
imprisoned, especially the mother fuckers who sell alcohol which is far and
away more evil. Legal currency FUCK!

  8. Marijuana should be legalised everywhere as many people need it for
medicinal purposes. Other people need it to unwind after a long day at work
and it comes without the risk of overdose or damaging your liver like
alcohol does. Alcohol also affects people differently and lots of cases of
domestic abuse are caused by alcohol.
If alcoholics/social drinkers can drink alcohol legally then stoners should
most definitely be allowed to smoke weed and relax legally.

  9. I like Mr Kennedy’s idea of follow the money so lets do that shall we? When
he was on the subcomitee on fisheries his biggest donor was a large fish
processor. Three of his other top ten donors were big pharma and one from
the supplement industry. Corporations that stand to lose market share from
legalization. Gee I think an “ex” (cuz ya know hard drug users never lie
about being clean) addict who blatantly represents the interests of whoever
lines his pockets is legit. Dont you?

  10. So Kennedy wants to come back to the political life again by bashing the
Cannabis.. what a loser.. Why doesn’t he stop the alcohol as well?.. It is
the most dangerous drug that causes damage.

these coppers gotta go shut down the vicodin and the opiates – what about
those addictions? what about tobacco? i live a healthy lifestyle that
involves the use of medicinal cannabis. why are you persecuting me patrick

  12. Anyone else realize that there was heroic music being played while that
fucking idiot Patrick Kennedy was talking and ranting ( Who literally looks
and sounds like someone who was pulled straight out of a South Park episode
) yet when it was showing Cannabis plants or when they were interviewing
all the pro cannabis businessman, the music would be like be something from
    a doomsday movie.

Also, the woman towards the end was hilarious.

” Absolutely there is evidence that it causes illness. Kids come to me
    depressed and have anxiety ”

Really ? This shit AGAIN. It’s always the same fucking things in these
types of documentary’s. You have someone interviewing people about the pros
and cons with cannabis, and whenever it comes to the cons, it always
involves kids ? WOW. so you’re telling me that 14 year old billy who is
smoking what is most probably some of the strongest cannabis on the street,
is turning out to be not so good ? He’s become paranoid and depressed ? WHO
WOULD OF KNOWN! Come on, It’s bullshit, kids from a young age group
shouldn’t be using any type of drugs unless it’s for medical purposes.

I had one friend who used to smoke weed when he was 13 and although like i
said, in no way shape or form is it the ideal thing for a kid to be doing,
however, it never had the damaging effect that alcohol had on most kids i
knew from the same age. The consequences that go with drinking too much
alcohol as a young kid don’t even compare with how Cannabis can harm you.
Yet kids are never told this. In school, you’re told that you’re ” Not old
enough to drink alcohol yet ” but whenever you mention cannabis you’re
told to ” Just say no ” and that ” You will just start using heroin not
    long after ”

  13. This is not objective and I resent neutral reporting, Patrick Kennedy
can’t control himself so now we have to listen to him shove his morals down
our throat turn this shit off, besides anything in life can be addicting
what’s wrong with being attached were creatures of habit and marijuana is
therapeutic, so what if there’s more thc it’s not toxic and it should be
supported because that just means you need to smoke less which can be
avoided with edibles, but then what? Oh that’s right you’ll go to the
emergency room, for what medical emergency exactly you turd? Paranoia?
uncomfortable feelings? so what you Cracker Jack this is annoying I could
spin your head around if you were worth it

Kennedy just coz ur a loser addict. Of alcohol and coke don’t drag us
peaceful smokers into your sordid life.

I’ve smoked 18 years, I have 2 degrees I own 3 homes, run my own business
    an amazing social life.

I don’t drink nor do I do hard drugs so instead of talkin shite off the top
of your head refer to science.

Grow it everywhere and never let these scumbags have a hope in hells chance
    of stopping weed.

I gave thousands of seeds and millions if others do to so good luck with
    that one you pathetic human

    penalties…

i don’t want pot stores on the streets where i sell. i don’t want to
compete with an entire industry. and i don’t want to pay taxes and be
regulated. so yeah, P.Kenedy and the like are my heroes.

  17. I see a real moral issue here. While those who are investing rub their
hands together with glee at anticipated profits, the prison industrial
complex also benefits from those in jail who were torn from their families
and livelihoods for ingesting the same substance. I say immediate amnesty
for every single person in jail for any cannabis charges. When you have a
government sanctioned puff say a prayer for all who have been persecuted by
    your laws.

  19. Hey Patrick Kennedy; just because you’re a stereo typical Irish alcoholic,
doesn’t mean the rest of us are addicts like you. You can easily consume
marijuana, tobacco and alcohol without becoming an addict. The fear
mongering Patrick Kennedy is using to get his message across is so 1930s.
Get with the program, he should at the very least be pushing for
decriminalization versus legalization. Someone needs to get him on TV and
debate the actual facts with him.

As to the pediatric professor they interviewed, why didn’t they ask her to
cite or mention the “volumes” of medical research showing the harms of
    using marihuana.

This was a pretty stupid report, which misinforms at worst and shows us how
behind the times Australia is at best.

  22. Hemp is what is needed on a grand scale. Marijuana should have been legal
years ago. A better substitute than alcohol, but considering alcohol is
already legal, legalizing marijuana is not what most might think. It will
become tainted with additives by corporate tinkering.
Hemp though could solve so many world problems, from textiles, plastics,
building materials, oil products, livestock feed, gardening mulch and so
very much more. Instead of this, we have the big dollar market controlling
another illegal substance that will be turned into something none of us
wanted in the first place. Controlled, tainted, taxed and expensive.

Next question. Who is gearing up to patent this plant? There is far more
to this than meets the eye.

does this guy know enough about marijuana to impose its legality or not? He
