in any event, whether controlled or not, there is always going to be unexplained phenomena. if 9/11 happened the next day, there would have been other unexplained events that you and others would be using as 'evidence' that this must have been carried out by Bush. you have to explain away a lot of things as well. why would they target the world trade centre and butcher the economy in the process? why take the risk of flying planes into the building? they could have so easily missed.
You underestimate the power of a lie, 9/11 wasn't carried out by people who have trouble keeping their mouths shut. Stand downs, drills, vans with explosives, building 7. Too many coincidences for me to say it was Arabs being led by a guy with confirmed kidney failure.

I still remember when he played Franko in Rescue me, his character was also of the belief that the investigation on 9/11 needed to be redone. His actual account is worded much better, and I'm glad he's standing up for his beliefs in such an intelligible way. (Franko, I didn't quite believe–Daniel, the real man, I can follow.)
Ok let's break down what you just said: "He plays a firefighter on tv". For you to link his personal beliefs to a character he plays on television and say he's contradictory because his beliefs don't match a common persona for a type of character on a tv show, is pretty close to the DUMBEST thing I've ever heard. Also just because someone's a firefighter, it doesn't mean they automatically buy into or support or have heart strings to anything about 9/11.
