I did. It also says they were designed to withstand low speeds, not high ones. No one back then dreamed this would happen, so they didn't figure any plane flying over the Big Apple would be going very fast. They would most likely be coming in to land or departing the runway. It takes a while to get up to full speed

I think they went down from lighter aircraft is because the guy was wrong. Plain and simple. Some small oversight/error seriously buggars up these kind of things. Either way, always nice to have another video.
I just checked. And the planes were both 767's. But the construction manager said that they could also withstand 767s in the video in the description. Check it out 😀
Sorry, I goofed on the official speeds, only one was traveling 590 (510 knots)
The other was at 470 mph (410 knots)
The planes were 757 and 767 (I know this, because the 707 is no longer common, my father flies with United Airlines)
It will not let me put in a web address, try googling "speeds of 9/11 planes", second link (the non-wikipedia one, should say "Speed likely factor in WTC collapse"). The planes had to dive from their cruising altitude, which put them at higher speeds
